So You Say

You say you love me,

but I know that's a lie.

My gut say your true intentions are in disguise.

The ability to truly love someone is wrapped in your pride;

the love that hides underneath your macho, infidelious, Casanova charm

tends to leave these emotional scars.

You say you love me,

but I truly doubt that.

'Cause every time I share my emotions, you fall back.

Saying that I've grown distant,

but never respond back.

Separate is the time we spend together the most,

constantly stuck in a perpetual cycle of text, talk and then you go ghost.

You say you love me,

but I think you're mistaken.

You have delusionally confused your love for infatuation.

Infatuation for lust, and your lust for greed.

You have twisted your lies into truths,

so you showered me in your deceit.

I've hated myself because I couldn't make you love me.

I've cut myself with self consciousness and the judgement of mine.

You say you love me,

but I find it funny how ...

You court others, but still find your way back to me.

You release your intoxicating love fragrance,

attracting all to live in your fantasy.

You kiss others with me on your lips,

spreading love's disease that you're immune to.

Killing me softly and slowly as your disease spreads, you grab my hips.

And I listen to the lies of love you whisper in my ear, 'cause when it comes to love

Nothing is usual.
